Nuvia awarded two hazard and risk reduction contracts

Nuvia, the international nuclear engineering, project management and services contractor, has been awarded two significant contracts to support Sellafield Ltd in its decommissioning of high hazard facilities at the site.

The projects include procurement of equipment, integrated works testing, installation and inactive commissioning. These activities are in support of liquor management and the refurbishment of one of the storage pond export routes to enable the recovery of legacy fuel.

“We are delighted to have been entrusted by Sellafield to deliver this work.” said Nuvia’s regional director, John Ball. “Delivering complex nuclear projects is Nuvia’s heritage and what we have built our reputation on. This latest contract award builds on our long term commitment to Sellafield and the Cumbrian supply chain.”

Nuvia will be delivering the work from its regional office and utilising its own local resources with support from the Cumbrian supply chain.
