Nuvia supporting industry events

This evening, representatives from Nuvia will be attending two key industry events – the Nuclear Institute (NI) Western Branch Annual Dinner and the UK Nuclear Skills Awards Dinner being held in Bristol and Manchester respectively.

The NI Western Branch Annual Dinner attracts many clients and stakeholders from across the region. Nuvia will be hosting a table of existing and potential key contacts and has also made a donation to a charity raffle being held on the night with all proceeds donated to the Julian trust.

The Nuclear Skills Awards 2016, is hosted by the National Skills Academy for Nuclear (NSAN) and Cogent Skills and is their eighth collaborative skills awards evening for the industry. The awards provide a unique opportunity for employers and stakeholders across the Nuclear Industry to join together for an informal evening at which success in workforce development will be celebrated through a number of key awards.

The Nuvia table will be represented by apprentices Jay Thomas, Daniel Makin, Daniel Hutchinson and Alex Corcoran along with Matt Airey (Head of Engineering), John Larne (Engineering Manager), Nigel Boardman (Senior Engineer and Mentor), Alistair Weston (Chief EC&I Engineer and Mentor), Susan Horwood (Head of HR) and Paula Quinn (Training & Development Manager).

Nuvia has also donated two tickets to the FA Cup Semi Final for a charity auction being held on the night in aid of Save the Children.
